Looking to have all elements of your celebration in one place? We’re perfect for accommodating an intimate ceremony before the party starts. As an inclusive, non-denominational venue, we welcome all faiths, traditions, and unique personal touches - whether that’s a string quartet, a canine ring bearer, or a nod to cultural traditions.

Our space can accommodate approximately 175 guests for a seated ceremony with room flip and up to 225 guests for a California Style Ceremony. Have a larger crowd? Our venue is a very versatile space - reach out to us to discuss your vision for your day.

RECEPTIONS:

Have somewhere else in mind for your wedding ceremony, but looking for the ideal spot for a high-energy reception? Here at The Woodward, we know a thing or two about hosting one heck of a party. Having originally opened as a silent film house in 1913, and reopening as a live music venue in 2014, you could say that entertainment and enjoyment are ingrained in our identity.

With a fully equipped sound system and professional sound engineers on staff, you can trust us when we say your reception is going to sound amazing.

Not to mention, with a variety of bar packages to choose from, including our 12 rotating beers on tap, we have all the makings for an epic night.

We can accommodate 225 guests for a seated reception, and up to 300 guests for a standalone, cocktail style reception.

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH YOUR RENTAL

We believe in making your wedding as seamless and stress-free as possible. That’s why our venue rental includes:

  • Tables, chairs, and table linens (black or ivory; other colors available at an additional cost)
  • Bar glassware and full bar setup
  • Full sound production with a professional sound engineer
  • All-day access starting at 9 AM for vendor load-in and prep
  • Up to 5 operational event hours (additional time available)
  • A dedicated production manager on-site for your event
  • Bistro lighting over the open floor for a warm, romantic ambiance
  • Historic poster box takeover – personalize your wedding with your names and photos in our 7’ tall, illuminated display cases
  • Janitorial staff before and after your event
  • Flexible catering options – choose from our trusted preferred caterers or bring any licensed caterer (preferred caterers receive a discounted fee)

PRICING

We believe in transparent pricing, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • Saturday venue rental for a ceremony & reception begins at $6,250
  • Saturday standalone reception begins at $5,750.
  • Package pricing varies based on day of the week and season.

BAR PACKAGES

The After Party

Want to keep the party going? Ask us about hosting your after party at our sister venue, MOTR Pub, across the street! You'll get Half barrel of Old Style, a dedicated bartender, and private access to the Sword Room. Adjacent to the bar you'll find the pinball machines and bathroom. You can also access the full bar upstairs, food, and the patio. (21+ Up No Exceptions)

Afterparties cost $350. The keg included! We keep this price low for our couples, so just make sure you tip your bartender well!
